Carol Socci of SINY passed on June 14 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Mrs Socci was born and raised on SI and relocated to Dansville, NY where she lived for 8 years. Following the death of her husband John she returned to SI where she resided with her daughter April and son in law Michael until her passing.In addition to spending time with family and dog Louie. Mrs Socci enjoyed cooking, travel and was an avid card player.She is survived by 5 children, Donna Toti, Glenn (Lynn) Velardi,April ( Michael) Saburro, Michele (Ricci) Martin, Christine Socci, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, one sister, Barbara Djavaheri and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son William Velardi and 4 siblings. In lieu of flowers the family would request donations in her name to the ASPCA
