MOSIER, ALLEN DAVID SR. "BIG MOE" 64 - of Germania. Allen died on December 18, 2012 after a courageous fight for his life at Jefferson University Hospital from a sudden illness. He was born on January 3, 1948 to Clinton and Margaret Mosier in Stroudsburg, PA. His parents moved to Germania when he was a small child, where he remained a life long resident. Allen is survived by his loving companion of 12 years Elaine McCarten; his children Allen Jr. (Jennifer), Ed Haas (Colleen), Kelly Fairfield; grandchildren MaKenna and Hailey Haas, Josh Ordille; his extended family Jim Bailey (Marie), Leanne Rajkowski, Danielle and Rob Robinson; his beloved dog Samantha; a brother Cliff Mosier and many other loving friends. Allen was a 1967 graduate of Oakcrest High School. He was a lineman for Henkels and McCoys before joining Atlantic Electric as a Substation Electrician where he worked for over 25 years. Allen retired in 2003 and enjoyed his job so much that he went back to work as a consultant until his death. He was a past member of the Germania Volunteer Fire Company and Future Farmers of America. Allen was a very compa-ssionate and giving person who was always ready to help others. Allen's greatest joys in life were his family, friends, dog and blueberry farm. After a long days work Allen enjoyed having a beer with friends and family in his garage telling stories and reminiscing about old times. He will be sadly missed by many. A celebration of his life will be held on what would of been his 65th birthday, Thursday January 3, 2013 from 10am to 12:30pm with Services starting at 12:30pm at Saraceno Funeral Home 1114 White Horse Pike, Egg Harbor City, NJ 08215. There will be no grave side services, cremation was private. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Make-A-Wish Foundation of NJ located at 1347 Perrineville Road, Monroe Twp NJ 08831.
