Helen M Rando

Rando, Helen M. (Clagett), 74, passed away on July 12, 2015. She was surrounded by her family who will miss her greatly. Helen enjoyed being with her family and friends at every family function. She also enjoyed watching her birds. She especially enjoyed our family vacations at the beach watching for baby turtles to be born. She also loved to cook for her family. Helen was a manager for the Atlantic County government acting as what we would call a "problem solver" for numerous departments and offices. Helen retired after more than 20 years of devoted service. Helen is survived by her children; Stacie Bates (John), C.L. Rando II (Michele), Kim Iverson (Jim); seven grandchildren; Jessica Kirby (Josh), Carl Rando III (Alexa), Nick, Eric and Billy Bates, Christopher and Lauren Iverson; three great-grandchildren; Cayla, Madison, and Breanna Kirby. Helen is predeceased by her husband, Carl Rando Sr., her brother Elbert Clagett Jr.and her parents Helen Burnham and Elbert Clagett Sr. Helen's children would like to thank our family and friends for your prayers and support as well as the staff of Meadowview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for caring for Helen. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18 at 10:30am at Lowenstein-Saraceno Funeral Home in Galloway, NJ. Friends may call at 9:00 am until time of service. Burial to follow at the Atlantic County Veteran Cemetery, Estell Manor.
