He was a member of the USAF, and served in the Korean War. He continued to serve as a consultant in the Pharmaceutical Industry following his retirement from Roche Pharmaceuticals where he was employed as a Mechanical Engineer, with numerous patents to his credit. He is also predeceased by Champ and all of his beloved dogs. He is also survived by Vivian the wife. John was gentle man who loved and enjoyed his family and his faith. He will be remembered for his modesty and kindness. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the wonderful people of Griswold and Compassionate Care, especially, Manya, Eric, Dede, Donna, Sal, Cindy, and Melissa for loving and guiding John and the family through this difficult journey.
